Research is being done to determine the effects that the drug pemetrexed has on response to treatment (tumor shrinking or staying the same) and length of life, and to evaluate the side effects.
Patients who qualify for this study will have cancer of their cartilage that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread to other parts of their body.
The patients’ condition will be followed for five years after his/her treatment ends.
The research site is in Duarte, Calif.
